Aren't you supposed to cook raw meat?
Well - tonight we had a very nice dinner with the top dog at the plant. They treated us to a VERY expensive dinner with TOP quality service and food. The waitress was dressed in traditional attire. We opened with appetizers of sashimi, tofu, and crab claw. The main course was top grade beef (shabu shabu). It was sliced very thin and placed on the table. You had top take a piece with chopsticks and stir it in a pot of boiling water. The boiling water "flash" cooked it. I have never hasd meat melt in my mouth like that. Our host said that the meat was not "Kobe Beef" but was on the same scale. WOW. The Japanese people tend to smoke and drink allot, so there was alcohol (sake) a-plenty.
